Why hop water?

First released in 2025, Kentucky Hop Water is a hop-forward sparkling water made in Louisville, KY. Limestone-filtered Kentucky water, Citra and Amarillo hops, and carbonation. No alcohol, no sugar, no calories.

It tastes like hops because it's made with hops. Real hops. Citrus notes from Citra, floral notes from the Amarillo. It's your option for the second round, when you want something cold and carbonated but don't want another beer, wine, or cocktail.

We were the first to can hop water in Kentucky. Available in Original, Dark Berry, and Mango, plus an infused line with 5 mg of hemp-derived THC per 16 oz can.

A Note From The Founder

Much of my adult life has revolved around beer and spirits. Distribution, beer bars, breweries, beer tourism, beer journalism, and marketing. I didn't come at this from the outside looking for a trend to get into.

I started making hop water at home on a kegerator because I wanted something to drink on a Tuesday that was not another beer. Well, that and I just stopped drinking at home. Not because beer is bad. I still drink it. But on most nights, the next one becomes a decision, and the choices were sugary sodas, plain water, or going home.

Hop water fixes that. It's carbonated, aromatic, and it tastes like something. It gives you the part of beer you actually wanted: the hops.

Nobody in Kentucky had canned it before.

The water matters more than people expect. Kentucky limestone is a big part of why this state became known for bourbon.

If you like hops but you don't want that second alcoholic beverage, this is for you.
